Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At Create Marketplace, we host independent creators, makers, and vendors. Because our platform features unique, handcrafted, and custom items from third-party sellers, specific return, refund, and cancellation terms apply to all purchases made online or in-person.
By completing a purchase on Create Marketplace, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Vendor Discretion & No-Return Exceptions
Certain vendors operating within Create Marketplace enforce a strict no-return, no-refund policy.
In-Store Purchases: Vendor-specific rules are posted directly in physical vendor booths. It is the customer's responsibility to review booth signage before purchase.
Final Sale Items: Any item marked as Final Sale, clearance, or purchased from a vendor who is no longer actively selling on our platform is strictly non-refundable, non-returnable, and ineligible for exchange.
Vendor Autonomy: Create Marketplace reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet individual vendor requirements or our general policy standards.
2. Standard 30-Day Return Window & Eligibility
Where applicable by vendor guidelines, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of purchase or confirmed delivery.
To qualify for a return, the item must be strictly in its original condition:
Unworn, unused, unwashed, and unaltered.
Possess all original tags, labels, and intact packaging.
Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase or receipt.
We reserve the right to reject any returned item that shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration upon inspection, or that fails to meet these criteria.
3. Return Process, Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

Important Return Conditions:
Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to us without prior approval through the return portal will be rejected, discarded, or returned to sender at the customer's expense.
Return Shipping: Customers are solely responsible for acquiring and paying for return shipping labels and tracking. Create Marketplace is not liable for items lost, damaged, or stolen in transit back to our facility.
Restocking Fee: All approved returns are subject to a non-negotiable 5% restocking fee, which will be automatically deducted from your total refund amount.

4. Strict 1-Hour Order Cancellation Window
Due to automated fulfillment processes:
Orders may only be canceled within 1 hour of placement, provided the order has not yet been processed or fulfilled.
Cancellation requests must be sent immediately to returns@createmarketplace.co
Once 1 hour has passed or an order status updates to fulfilled, cancellations cannot be granted under any circumstances, and the item must follow standard return rules (if eligible).
5. Damages, Defective Items & Handcrafted Variations
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
Handcrafted Variations: Many products are individually handmade. Minor variations in color, texture, size, or appearance are natural characteristics of artisanal goods and do not constitute a defect.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: If an item arrives broken, defective, or incorrect, you must report it to returns@createmarketplace.co within 48 hours of delivery with detailed photographs of the packaging and item. Failure to report within 48 hours limits our ability to process a carrier or vendor claim and may result in a denied request.
6. Non-Returnable & Strictly Exempt Goods
The following categories are permanently non-returnable and non-refundable:
Perishable goods (food, beverages, plants, flowers).
Custom, made-to-order, or personalized goods (custom art, engravings, altered items).
Personal care, body, and beauty products (soaps, cosmetics, skincare).
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Gift cards, downloadable digital products, and promotional items.
Vendor-designated "Final Sale" items.
7. European Union 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
For orders shipped directly to consumers located in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt without cause, pursuant to EU consumer rights directives. Returned items must still adhere to standard return condition criteria (unworn, original tags attached). Standard return shipping costs and restocking fees apply to the extent permitted by law.
8. Refund Processing & Timelines
Inspection: Upon receiving your return, our team will inspect the item to verify eligibility. We reserve sole discretion in determining whether an item meets return conditions.
Approval & Processing: If approved, a refund (minus the 5% restocking fee and initial shipping costs) will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Bank Delays: Financial institutions may require additional processing time to post refunds to your statement. If you have not received an approved refund within 15 business days of notification, please contact returns@createmarketplace.co
